SCHOOL VISITS

Living in regional New South Wales can sometimes mean missing out on all the exciting events in the city.

Which is why I take school visits so seriously. It’s one of my favourite parts of the job.

I have been to tiny schools with 50 students right up to schools with over 1000.

I have spoken to kids from kindy to high school. I can even organise talks for teachers and parents.

No one is off limits.

I talk about all things books and all things illustration.

Everything from character design and creative writing, to designing a good illustration and getting a book published.

Nothing is off limits.

There are hands on exercises and plenty of time for questions and silliness.
